In June the 0024 European Watch of the Year jury gathered at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge. They were there to judge the finest watches of the previous year, which were brought before them one by one, in their six categories. It’s fair to say there were several surprises and plenty of hearty, full-blooded discussions, as the judges weighted up factors the aesthetics, finishing, engineering, innovation and value-for-money of each watch, and more.
