The Ulysse Nardin Marine Tourbillon Grand Feu

In-house, innovation and interesting historic stories. Ulysse Nardin is responsible for the in-house developed Freak in 2001 – a visionary concept that marks the starting point of nouvelle horlogerie – and many marine chronometers en beautifully crafted enamel dials. At SIHH 2017 we see the manufacture at the top of its game with some startling watches.

The Marine Tourbillon Grand Feu uses an in-house movement with a silicium hairspring and a very delicate white grand feu enamel dial. Classic watchmaking in every sense but with a little yet essential hightech balance spring. It is very interestingly priced to say the least. This Swiss made tourbillon will cost a little less than 30,000 euro.

The same wow factor accompanies the Classico Grand Feu Marine Bleu. The deep blue dial with its subtle patern is rich and lively. The rounded case soft and stylish, the movement is made in-house and the price stays under 9,000 euro. Ulysse Nardin is making a very strong debut at SIHH that won’t go unnoticed by watch fans and watch manufacturers.
