The Tank Cintrée has always been among the most elegant watches Cartier had to offer. Slightly slender than the Tank Américaine, the curved shape of this Cintrée simply merges with your wrist.
No wonder that Cartier let it return in three new versions, featuring a pink gold, yellow gold, or platinum case. Another aspect that set these watches apart in the collection of La Maison is that they feature next to hour indexes Arabic numerals, instead of the Roman numerals that have almost become synonymous with the brand. Each of the case materials also gets a dial colour of their own, with grey for the platinum version, black for the pink gold one, and gold for the yellow gold. They not only complement each case colour to perfect, but they also forgo the, again, traditional guilloche in favour of a more understated brushed texture.
The Tank Cintrée is powered by calibre 8971 MC, which is based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 846 and fitted with the signature ardillon buckles. The gold versions will become part of the regular collection, while the platinum version is limited to 100 pieces.
