Roger Dubuis has aligned itself with two of the most iconic names in motorsports: Pirelli and Lamborghini Squadra Corsa, which has resulted in not only extraordinary watches but also unique events. One of them is the Run to Monaco, in which clients and guests of the brand drive an exciting, multi-day route, through the south of France to finish in Monaco, where they can see the F1 Grand Prix.
This year Roger Dubuis used the event to launch the new Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Flying Tourbillon Red. Named after the colour coding of the Pirelli racing tires, this watch will be a limited edition, highlighting the best Roger Dubuis has to offer. It features a skeletonised movement, dominated by two flying tourbillons, which underscore the high tech nature of the watch. On top of this, is it awarded with the Geneva Seal, guaranteeing a finish that is worthy of the old masters of watchmaking.
While the watch itself is unique, the strap makes it even more special. It is crafted from the rubber of a Pirelli tire that was fitted on a winning car. Just a subtle reminder that the new Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Flying Tourbillon Red is more than just a watch, it’s a winner.
