Diving watches are usually big and bulky, but Christopher Ward has already shown us in the past that this doesn’t necessarily always have to be the case. With the C65 Trident Bronze SH21, they make that point again by combining a 41-millimeter bronze case with a beautiful blue dial and subtle diving bezel. This gives the watch a vivid contrast and a very nautical feeling as well.
The sub-seconds is quite unusual for a diving watch, yet provides it with lots of character, while the date-function adds functionality. All combined it gives the watch a unique appearance, that will change over time, as the bronze will take on a patina of its own. The watch is fitted with a glass box sapphire crystal which gives it a vintage feel yet with modern day protection.
But what makes the C65 Trident Diver special goes further than just its great looks. It is fitted with manufacture calibre SH21. This hand-wound movement is not only an officially certified Chronometer but also has a power reserve of a very generous 120 hours. The only true downside of the C65 Trident Bronze SH21 is that it is limited to only 150 pieces, making it a rare pleasure for those fortunate to get their hands on one!
