Hublot continued their collaboration with renowned contemporary artists Richard Orlinksi for a special edition in which they both highlight their love and passion for Mexico. Inspired by the Mexican flag they created a version of the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski with its 45mm large case crafted from green, micro-blasted, ceramic.
For the artist, it is the very first time that he works with this color. The result is quite spectacular, especially in combination with the skeletonized dial, under which we see caliber HUB1155, an open worked automatic chronograph movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours. The combination of the movement and the dial gives the watch an additional dimension.
That is also the case at the back of this new watch. Here Orlinski recreated the snake and the eagle that we find on the Mexican flag in his own unique style. This gives the watch just that bit of extra flair. The back of this Hublot also highlights to what extent they had to modify, they had to modify the regular Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph to accommodate Orlinski’s design. Hublot will make 30 pieces of this extraordinary watch.
