Mühle-Glashütte ProMare Lady: a longing for the deep blue sea

Mühle-Glashütte ProMare Lady
Precious mother-of-pearl used on the face of the watch

When we think of the summer, our minds are filled with specific colours, scents and feelings. Just like the sun itself, the trend colour of turquoise, inspired by the turquoise-blue sea, forms an integral part of the summer season. It is the ideal shade for invoking images of the ocean and summer holidays and putting a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eyes as you dream of travelling to faraway destinations. The ProMare Lady provides wearers with an instant reminder of such emotions thanks to its new limited-edition turquoise strap and matching bracelet.

Just one look at the new Mühle-Glashütte ProMare Lady will fill your heart with a longing for the deep blue sea, a platter of fresh fruit out on the terrace and a refreshing cocktail in the comfort of the beach bar. This special summer-edition watch is limited to a total of 100 pieces, each with a turquoise-coloured strap ready to embrace summer at its best. The new ProMare Lady is accompanied by a matching turquoise bracelet, which is also a limited edition and intensifies the summer feeling with its fresh raspberry-coloured inside.

As a pure and natural product from the depths of the ocean, it forms the basis for the stunning elegance of this watch and reveals its nautical heritage at a glance. Markings made of precious diamonds and indices applied by hand add even more charm to the timepiece’s elegant appearance and provide a stylish finishing touch for its clear yet attractive face. All of these beautiful features are perfectly framed by a pure white ceramic bezel ring. The ProMare Lady Summer Edition injects a healthy dose of self-confidence into feminine elegance at its best and is therefore a sporty women’s watch that offers natural beauty, vibrancy and a strong character. Its 39-millimetre-wide case made of polished and brushed stainless steel featuring clear lines is perfectly aligned with a crown protection element that acts as clear proof that this time measuring instrument is also ideal for use under the sun in the great outdoors. The ProMare Lady prides itself on providing the nautical values typical of all Mühle products, namely excellent readability, maximum precision and outstanding robustness. This is underlined by the fact that the timepiece is also water-resistant up to 30 bars and fitted with a particularly shockproof woodpecker neck regulation and a waterproof leather/rubber strap.

When we started publishing our first high-end watch magazine in 1999, we had only one intention: increasing the popularity of high-quality mechanical watches. Now, many years later, this has not changed at all. In 2017 we have reinvented ourselves to serve our readers in a different and better way. Starting in 2017, the new 0024 is again better equipped to interact with the changing world of high-end watches. The new 0024 HORLOGES magazine (written in Dutch) will be at least a 200 pager: that’s twice the volume of our magazine in the old days.
