Mühle is one of those watch brands which has a very clear focus: the sea. Not only do they still make marine chronometers and ships instruments, but they also have a full range of wrist watches that are not afraid of a bit of water.
The latest addition to their line-up is the Yacht-Timer Bronze, which will be released in a limited edition of 500 pieces. As the name already indicates is its 44mm large case crafted from bronze, a material known for its use in the maritime industry and highly resistant against saltwater environments. Mühle combines the bronze case with a blue dial, bezel and strap, which gives a vibrant contrast.
The Yacht-Timer Bronze is powered by an automatic Sellita SW 200, which is a solid performer yet not the world’s most exciting movement. That’s why Mühle overhauls it with not only its own characteristic surface finishes and its own rotor, but also equipped it with their woodpecker neck regulation, for added precision, and which can be admired through the transparent case back.
With its domed, double anti-glare, sapphire crystal is it clear that the Yacht-Timer Bronze means business, but being a Mühle, we also wouldn’t have expected anything less.
