Slim d’Hermès Mille Fleurs du Mexique

The Slim d’Hermès Mille Fleurs du Mexique is a watch like a hothouse plant. No, that description doesn’t do justice to the luscious floral design on the mother-of-pearl dial of this watch. This miniature artwork was inspired by a Hermès scarf designed by Mexican graphic designer Laetitia Bianchi.

slim-d-hermes-mille-fleurs-du-mexique-03The colourful Mille Fleurs design consists of a range of stylised leaves and flowers – a pattern that was also used in 15th century tapestry. The feathers, flowers and bird are transformed and also pay tribute to the Mexican roots of Bianchi. The ticking heart of this watch is the Hermès H1950 movement fitted in a white gold, 39.5mm case.

The matching green alligator strap is the perfect fit for the natural theme. The watch comes in a limited edition of just six, price on application.
